Our flexibility to align processes, tools, expertise and behavior to suit client’s need is a critical component of success in all our client engagement models.

Our client engagement models take several forms from generic to custom models. Some of the generic models are:


Turnkey Model – Clockwork offers turnkey services by deploying highly-skilled and experienced management and technical professionals who can add significant value quickly. Our turnkey services are typically used to either kick-start a specific business or IT initiative or address a particular business or IT problem. Our consultants are quite skilled in grasping the need, identifying a solution, formulating an implementation approach and implementing as planned. In every engagement our consultants use a collaborative approach to ensure Client’s staff gain a sense of ownership of the resulting deliverables, considerably reducing the 'deliverability risk".

Depending on the need, our turnkey solutions could be developed and delivered either on-site or by employing dual-shore approach. Irrespective of the delivery mode, as part of the deliverables, our team ensures there is complete knowledge transfer to the client team. This usually takes the form of imparting training (user level & advanced); delivering varied documents like process, design, technical, user level documents; delivering source code and associated hardware/software/IP.

Dedicated Team Model – This engagement model is the best approach for projects significant in time or scope or for start-ups or where there is a need to build teams of rare skills quickly. Clockwork’s dedicated team model is developed to provide a completely exclusive approach to client’s needs and maximum cost efficiency for their business and leverages Clockwork’s technical infrastructure, processes and execution capabilities. The other features of this model are high level of transparency, security, flexibility and scalability.

Clockwork provides dedicated professional staff with required skills and experience to work either on a development project or on a support project for a monthly fee. The dedicated team could easily be integrated with client’s team or made to work as an extended team. The team works directly under client’s command and control while we supervise the resources on their behalf to ensure optimal output and productivity. The team work hours could be aligned with client’s business hours or shift hours.

Project-Based Model - This is comparatively a low risk option and is most suitable when project requirements are clear as regards its scope and specifications. At Clockwork we understand businesses have diverse needs ranging from full blown product development needs to functionality / enhancement development needs to specific R&D requirements. Whatever our client’s need may be, we will work with them in time bound, project-based engagement model. With our Project-based Engagement Model, client’s can leverage our services for building Prototypes, Proof of Concept (PoC), Architectural Validation, Design, Development, Testing etc. Our process based optimization ensures reliability, predictability and optimized performance of the projects to deliver on time, on budget, on target.

Clients will be able to leverage our resources – technical and domain specialists and execute project. We will provide time-to-market advantage and reduced development cost while our clients focus on their core business functions.

In-sourcing Model – The in-sourcing model provides an exciting and compelling way for our clients to reap the benefits of highly skilled and experienced resources at the needed level of commitment, and ensures that the knowledge and IP remain with our clients.

This model is agile, fast to react, and is one that leverages Clockwork´s project development processes and methodology. This model is based on the strategy of setting up a large, provisional pool of skilled and experienced resources that our client can tap into to meet expert resource demand spikes. These flexible resource pools are available on an as-needed basis to service client’s needs, at a short notice.

Managed Services Model – In this model, Clockwork shares the risks and challenges of the client’s ongoing initiatives - from annual application maintenance and monitoring to multi-year, fully-outsourced contracts.

Typically, client chooses one or more managed service options, as agreed and defined in a service-level-agreement (SLA), with the delivery model tailored to the client’s individual needs. We deliver considerable business benefits through our service agreements. We bring scale to client’s business and IT initiatives, offering 24/7 availability and a breadth of technical capability, enabling client to flex and respond rapidly to business demands during the term of the agreement.
