Pricing Models

Time & Material - Clockwork offers 'Time and Material' pricing model when scope, specification and implementation plans of the project are not easy to define at the outset. Under this model, the client pays as per use of the efforts giving maximum flexibility to make substantial revisions to the project even as it is being developed.

Benefits of this model include full access to our wide range of expertise and resource flexibility to accommodate changes in project scope, cost, and duration.

Fixed-Price - Clockwork offers 'Fixed-Price' pricing model when the scope and specifications for the engagement is reasonably clear enabling us to complete it within a specified timeframe. Under this model, the client pays a pre-negotiated fixed price for the mutually agreed well-defined deliverables. For any change in scope a predefined fixed hourly/daily/monthly rate agreed at the initial stage of start of engagement is paid.

Benefits of this model include the predictability of costs, schedule and minimal exposure to risk for the client.

Hybrid Models – This model is used when client wishes to work on fixed price model and when the project scope is not detailed enough to enable us to estimate the effort with accuracy. In this model, a major portion of the project is on a "Fixed-Price" basis supplemented by need based additional resources on a "Time & Material" basis.

Adopting such a model enables the client to optimize their budget without compromising any aspect of the project itself.

Managed Services Pricing – This can take many forms like "Fixed-Price" for a period, "Fixed-Price" for a request, "Retainer" etc. Depending on the need, we usually arrive at a best pricing model at the commencement of an engagement and will usually be a function of type of service needed, type and level of skills needed, complexity of IT infrastructure, geographical spread etc.
